Now once you have fozen your buying needs and out for shopping, you will come across multiple brands and confusing configurations matching your needs. You need to keep all your scenes active to smell the fish. Specially in I.T. trade, it is very easy to buy and re trade the product. Many vendors would vanish, once the product is sold and payment is recovered. If not vanished, they would change their version of commitment.

• One must look for a dealer who is authorized by the manufacturer and has a proven track record.

• He would generally carry sufficient stock and technical skill to handle your problems

• Insist for demonstration of the product before finalisation .

• In case you have some specific need about connectivity to some other equipment or running some typical software, pl make sure that firm commitment is obtained before signing on the doted line.

• Many a times there are schemes running from the manufacturer on the specific models. You can check the same from the respective web sites generally mentioned as “Schemes” or “Promotions”. Check with your dealer if there is any scheme running currently on the same. Many times, the dealers claim the schemes themselves and offer meager price advantage to customer. So many times the authorized channels sound costlier than the unorganized ones. Many times, the difference lies here. Note, no businessman would do business in loss unless he is making it up somewhere.

• Shop around in the market and collect maximum information about the performance, service back up, time required for service etc and do you your home work properly.

• In case you are buying it on finance, make yourself conversant with the down payment and EMIs. Private finances are very expensive. Your regular bank would be happy to finance your need but the time required for clearing the case may be little more.

• Ask for the address / ph no of the authorized service center of the company nearest to you.

• If possible, insist for a “Sealed Pack box to be opened in your presence and then installed to avoid any chance of parts being changed by dealer.

• In case you are buying a notebook, stabilizer or UPS may not be essential but while buying desktop, you must plan for the table space in your room with appropriate power point and power back up near the table.

• In case you are buying it for your home and your family members are also likely to use it, pl. involve them in the buying process as well so that they are satisfied with the model purchased and is put ot right use...
